MEMBER REQUIREMENTS

• Complete our 2024-2025 membership sign-up form (click here!)

• Pay membership dues (Basic Tier: $25 or Social Worker Club Tier: $40 one-time payment for a lifetime membership)

  • New Advanced Standing Students. This is the first year we’re switching to a single $40 fee, so advanced standing students must only pay half of previous lifetime rate: $25

  • Prior Lifetime Memberships. If you already purchased a lifetime membership at the previous rate, you will be grandfathered in and keep your lifetime membership

  • Prior Semester Memberships. If you previously purchased semester membership ($15/semester), your rate will be prorated so you only pay the remaining balance

• Participate in at least two virtual asynchronous meetings via Google Form (1-3 per semester) or events per year

Community service is NO LONGER REQUIRED for membership. Participating in community service can still count as event attendance to meet membership requirements

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

• Students who pay their membership dues and meet all the requirements stated above will receive an MSWA graduation cord

• Members will have access to MSWA programs, including:

  • Peer Mentor Program (apply here)

  • Cohort Representative Program (apply here)

  • MSWA Discord Server

  • MSWA Resource Drives

  • Early RSVP to Professional Development Events

• It looks great on a resume!

All MSW students at CSUF may attend MSWA community events regardless of membership!
